Ein Gitarrentrio! Wer hier gepflegten „Jazz“ erwartet, könnte enttäuscht sein. Eine Strat, ein E-Bass und Christian Marien an den Drums sprechen unter Umständen eine andere Sprache.
In diesem Trio steht die Kommunikation an erster Stelle. Zur Verhandlung stehen Blues, Rock, freie Improvisation genauso wie "Jazz". Die Kompositionen geben, auch wenn manchmal viele Noten zu spielen sind, einen lockeren Rahmen vor, der energetisch von den drei Herren im Mit-, Über- und Durcheinander vermessen wird.

Jörg Schippa - Gitarre
Seit vielen Jahren Bandleader mit diversen Projekten und CD-Veröffentlichungen - zuletzt "UnbedingT", eine Band mit zwei Klarinetten und akustischer (!) Gitarre, die 2014 ihre zweite CD veröffentlicht hat. Daneben Sideman in vielen Projekten u.a. mit Friedemann Graef, Hannes Zerbe etc.

Horst Nonnemacher - E-Bass
Was soll man über ihn schreiben? Seit ewigen Zeiten einer der gefragtesten Bassisten der Berliner Jazzszene in nahezu allen Bereichen des zeitgenössischen Jazz, in unzähligen Bands und auf ebenso vielen CDs zu hören.

Christian Marien - Drums
Gratkowski, Kupke, Kalima, Weidenkamp, Graupe, Kempendorf, Arthurs, Beierbach, Roder, Willers, Müller, etc., etc. ... Der Trommler der neuen Berliner Jazzszene!

A guitar trio! Who expects cultivated "jazz" here, could be disappointed. A Strat, an electric bass and Christian Marien on drums might speak a different language.
In this trio, communication comes first. Blues, rock, free improvisation as well as "jazz" are up for negotiation. The compositions give, even if sometimes many notes are to be played, a loose framework, which is energetically measured by the three gentlemen in every possible way.

Jörg Schippa - Guitar
For many years bandleader with various projects and CD releases - most recently "UnbedingT", a band with two clarinets and acoustic (!) guitar, which released its second CD in 2014. Besides, sideman in many projects with Friedemann Graef, Hannes Zerbe, etc.

Horst Nonnemacher - electric bass
What to write about him? For ages one of the most sought-after bass players of the Berlin jazz scene in almost all areas of contemporary jazz, in countless bands and to be heard on just as many CDs.

Christian Marien - Drums
